This is for J. I have to go in for a pap smear soon and I'm a tad nervous. Have you had one? What's it like?
I have had one and I was nervous, too. It isn’t painful, but it’s pretty uncomfortable. Just trust your gyno to know what s/he’s doing and you’re fine! I only ever had one though and it was years ago, so my advice is pretty awful.
Any girls out there that can help us out?

Super easy. It “hurts” for maybe a sec. You feel a pinch and by the time you feel it it’s gone. Just try not to be nervous, they’ve done it before and they know what they’re doing. Very easy very fast :)
